In-Home Country Dog Boarding
Before Your Stay, I'd Like To Know ...
• Is your dog friendly with other dogs in a group setting?

• Is your dog reliably house trained? Once one dog has an "accident," other dogs are more likely to mark the spot as well. Because my home contains some carpeted areas, please tell me if I need to keep a special eye on your pup or let them out more frequently than every 2-3 hrs. (Not a problem, I just like to be proactive.)
• How often do they need to go out, and how do they let you know?
• When, what & how much do they eat? Any food aggression? (I feed all dogs separately just to be on the safe side. If there's still food left after 20-30 minutes, I put it up until the next feeding.)
• Are there foods or treats they should avoid due to stomach upsets?
• Do they need any meds administered? (No problem. I can give oral meds and intramuscular injections)
• Where do they usually sleep? (I prefer to keep all dogs crated in the Bunkhouse during the night)
• How long do they usually sleep at night? And do they have a bedtime routine or special cuddly toy or blanket that they sleep with?
• Do they need to be let out during the night?

• Do they use a doggy door at home?
• Do they have special toys they like to play with, and are they toy aggressive? Any toys to be avoided?
• What precautions do I need to take when leaving the house (re: trash, chewing, anxiety ... )
• Are they prone to bolting when a door opens?
• Who is your veterinarian?
• Who can I call to make decisions in the event there's a medical emergency and you are unreachable? (Situations can arise when you’re out of cell range, on a plane, etc. Please arrange a person I can call who knows your veterinary and financial wishes/limitations.)
